June, 2025 The third expert group meeting of the project “Improve the visibility of the joint cultural heritage through Carpathian Cultural Route” On June 19, 2025, the third expert group meeting was held in Ivano-Frankivsk under the project “Improve the visibility of the joint cultural heritage through Carpathian Cultural Route”, which is implemented by the Development Centre for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Maramures (Romania) in the partnership with the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)” and Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ukraine) in the framework of the Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme. The project is co-financed by the European Union. The meeting of the expert group considered the implementation of the sociological surveys of cultural and historical objects of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions. The database of the Carpathian Cultural Route and selection of cultural and historical objects of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions for their inclusion in the Carpathian Cultural Route were discussed. Liudmyla Arkhypova – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Project Manager, presented the results of the sociological survey of cultural and historical objects of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions. The selection of cultural and historical sites in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions to be included in the Carpathian Cultural Route was presented by Volodymyr Burdeniuk – Project Coordinator of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)” and Liudmyla Arkhypova – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Project Manager. Volodymyr Burdeniuk – Project Coordinator of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)” presented an updated database of sites in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions for the enlargement of the Carpathian Cultural Route. The discussion of these project activities (sociological surveys, database, selection of cultural and historical objects of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, for their inclusion in the Carpathian Cultural Route) was attended by: Vitaliy Perederko –Deputy Head of Department - Head of the Tourism Department of the European Integration of Communities and Tourism Department of the International Cooperation and European Integration of Communities of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Chairman of the Expert Group, Mariya Kovaliv – Vice-chairman of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)”, Project Manager, Yaroslav Adamenko – Head of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Oleg Mandryk – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Project Manager for Communications, Iryna Kinash – Head of the Department of Management and Administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Marketing Expert, Lydia Kvasnyuk – Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, Roman Shevchyk – local development and business expert, Viktor Kuzmyn – member of the Board of the public organization "Research and consulting center of business, marketing and law". Having approved the results of the sociological survey of cultural and historical objects and the updated database of objects in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions for the enlargement of the Carpathian Cultural Route, the members of the expert group decided to select 6 new objects for inclusion in the Carpathian Cultural Route at the next meeting of the expert group, taking into account the proposals made during the meeting. Overall objective of the Project is to improve the visibility of the existing Carpathian Cultural Route as an instrument aimed to support the valorisation of the cultural and historical heritage in the Carpathian Euroregion. Specific objectives are: to enlarge the integrated cultural heritage product “Carpathian Cultural Route” that connect places of historical and cultural heritage with other attractions and services; to improve the skills and knowledge of cultural tourism representatives through the training and sharing experience program; to improve the visibility of the integrated cultural heritage product “Carpathian Cultural Route” at the regional and international level through the development of digital promotional materials, joint online information sources and mobile application.
